You should be more careful than usual of the food you prepare in summer because food goes bad faster in hot weather. When you go shopping, especially buy frozen food, don’t make long stops on the way home. You can keep food cold if you use insulated bags. Milk and milk products should be refrigerated immediately.
When you go camping or go for a picnic, don’t leave food in a hot car or a traveling bag. Favorite picnic food, such as meat, chicken, and salad, should be kept in a cooler.
Above all, if the food doesn’t smell good, don’t taste it and throw it away immediately.
